The sentient inhabitants of a fantasy world are trying to forge peace among their different -- and often at odds -- races. Each book in the trilogy focuses on the story of a different character. Though the focal character changes in each book, the characters are all significantly interconnected and are all in some way involved in the over-arching struggle for peace.
