This isn't really a series at all, but there is an overlapping of characters and setting. With the exception of Emma Blau, they are all set in the fictional German town of Burgdorf. Emma Blau takes place in the United States, but several of the primary characters originally come from Burgdorf. Trudi and Pia is a picture-book adaptation of an episode from Stones from the River.
