These two books were written between books four and five of the Young Wizards series and take place roughly during that time. They focus on the adventures of several cat wizards who take care of the world gates hidden in Grand Central Station in New York City. There are token appearances by Nita and Kit from the other series, and certain concepts about wizardry are carried-over, but the stories stand on their own.
