Star Trek: The Original Adventures: This series of books is based on the original TV series and was published up until 1981.
Star Trek: The Original Series: This series of books, also based on the original TV series, commenced in 1981 from Pocket and currently numbers over 130 books.
Star Trek: Captain Kirk: Series of books, co-authored by William Shatner, chronicling the continuing adventures of Captain Kirk, commenced in 1996 and currently numbers 7 books.
Star Trek: The Lost Era: Series of books set in the time period between the "Original Series" and "The Next Generation. Commenced in 2004, currently numbers 6 books.
Star Trek: The Next Generation: Based on the second TV series of the same name, commenced in 1988 and currently numbers over 110 books.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Based on the third TV series of the same name, commenced in 1993 and currently numbers 50 books.
Star Trek: Voyager: Based on the fourth TV series of the same name, commenced in 1995 and currently numbers over 30 books.
Star Trek: Enterprise:Based on the Fifth TV series of the same name, commenced in 2001 and currently numbers 8 books.

Star Trek: Gateways: 7 book series from 2001 that enabled stories from different series to be told using the plot device of interdimensional Gateways.
