This is the worst book I've ever read. Both Hardy boys have the exact same personality, which is to say, none whatsoever. They somehow connect a criminal whose crimes are grand theft auto and attempted armed robbery with a burglary from a safe with no evidence other than they're both crimes. They don't even get to face the culprit; he dies offstage. Instead, a random guy named 'Hobo Johnny' is introduced in the penultimate chapter and is dealt with easily.
The book ends with a blatant plug for the next book. I don't think I'm going to read it anytime soon.
