I picked up this book in a book shop, looked at it, and put it back. It didn't sound that interesting, but it was like the book was following me. I hadn't seen it before, but from then on, i saw it in every book shop i went to. Finally, i decided to give it a go.
It was brilliant! Terry is SO creative!
After reading this, i HAD to read all the other Pratchett books too.
All of them just as good as the first!
I would recomend this book to people who like authors who create a whole new world, and make it sound real.

I had never before heard of Terry Pratchett, and when I saw this book in the bookshop I first thought it was a childrens book. But as I like Harry Potter as well, I decided to give it a go anyway. And I didn't regret it!
Pratchett is brilliant! The Discworld he has created is so different, but then again sometimes very similar to our own world. I never knew fantasy could be so funny! I can't wait to read the other Terry Pratchett books!
