Reviews of Storm Front (2000)

I love this book. The first book in the Dresden Files, the authors writting style starts out stiff, but the cool thing is, as you read the books, you can actually see Butcher's writting get better. The main charachter is a very likeable fellow, (even with the bad puns he keeps using), and the book has a very well thought out villan.

Storm Front was a fun, fluffy read. If you enjoyed The Garret Files series by Glen Cook, you'll enjoy this one too. The book is a quick read, but an enjoyable one. The main character, a hardworking wizard in a world of unbelievers, is a likable one. I'm definately planning on reading the other books in this series.
