Reviews of Acorna: The Unicorn Girl (1997)

Just sort of... hokey. Too many McCaffrey cliches. Oh no, children being abused and sold as slaves, what ever shall we do? That's about all I can say, since that's all I can remember. The verdict: unmemorable and unexceptional.

This was the only Acorna book able to hold my attention long enough for me to finish reading it. Not a bad book, simply not that good either. The plot is a bit weak but it is far better than any of the others in the series. Not up to McCaffery's usual standard.
