Reviews of Glitterby Baby (1987)

As an adult, I find the rather obvious moral element in the Serendipity books detracts from my enjoyment of the stories. I think I probably read at least a few of these as a child, but I don't remember what I thought of them at the time.
The moral element in this story doesn't come through as blatantly and it ends up primarily being a poignant little romance. The little winged horses are adorable and that in itself wuold have been enough for me to like the book as a child. Unlike some of the other Serendipity books, though, it still has some resonance for me as an adult.
