Reviews of Deep Zone, the (2012)
Review by michael a draper (2012-05-08)
When a flesh eating disease appears in wounded U.S. solidiers in Afghanistan, a group of scientists is assembled to find material that could cure it. This material is located at the bottom of one of the world's deepest caves and in a part of Mexico populated by drug growers and sellers.
Dr. Hallie Leland had worked for this organization and been fired in what she felt was unjustified reason but now returns to lead the group into the cave.
As the scients approach the cave, there is a parallel story of the military doctors dealing with the disease and the employees at government facility are dealing with a mole and trying to find who it is.
It is interesting to see the parts of the story come together.
