I don't know what's up with the first reviewer, but this book is wonderful. King's usual humor, characters, and settings are all there, plus this one has a nice gritty "detective novel" atmosphere to it. The plot is also quite original. There are some wonderful visuals that were unfortunately not added to the movie version, though I think I would've enjoyed the movie better if I hadn't seen it so soon after reading the book. The movie version also simplifies the story and characters which is a shame as they're quite complex. 8/10
