This Is One of the best books i have ever read, the characters are very well described, tension build up brilliant.
The book is better than the movie as the book describes more of what is happening in the story and additives that are very interesting

This book is in My Top 10 Books

So long, in fact, that I could not maintain interest in the novel.
I put it down a few times for more interestign reads, and could never bring myself to pick it back up...

Talk about over-detailed...
It felt like King begin writing the novel TRYING to ensure that the thing turned out huge..
Good plot, boring description. Not very creative style.

This book is probably my all time best stephen king story, and im a big King fan. the way king puts across the characters personalitys is brillant, he can really tap in to what it is like to be young. a great book and although its a hefty novel, the pages will fly by. scary, touching and funny all at the same time, highly recommended.

Stephen King's It is quite possibly the best book I've ever read. The characters are detailed richly and the switching between past and present is very effective in describing the characters lives and past enemies and affections. Of course the end - like many other Stephen King books can be confusing to someone of whom prefers the action then the complex mental attacks and barriers. Overall I loved it and if you like Stephen King's novels you are sure to like this one, if you dont like this book your foolish beyond reasonable doubt. ;)

This novel, to me, is second only to the Stand, as far as Stephen King works are concerned. It is a great read! The characters are developed better than probably any other Stephen King novel (or almost any novel). I also think that the way the story switches from the character's childhoods to their modern life is masterfully done and quite inovative. The pages will fly by on this rather hefty novel. 8)

I think I can say that this is my all-time favorite book! Stephen King is, once again, brilliant! It is no different from any other Stephen King book Ive read, it grips you from the very beginning to the very end. I just couldnt put it down once I started. A real masterpiece, definitely recommended to all of us out there who enjoy a good horror book!
