Reviews of Mrs. Searwood's Secret Weapon (1954)

Review by kirwar4face (2003-12-15)
The front cover illustration shows a matronly lady stealthily crossing a runway; in the background is a small private propellor plane. Watching her (at the left of the picture) is a soldier with an antique-looking helmet and rifle. Since the novel is set in England, the soldier must be an inattentive British sentry...no telling what our heroine is up to! This first of Leonard Wibberley's novels is still highly recommended by those lucky enough to have gotten hold of a copy.
