This is actually mostly a non-fiction collection with various pieces Asimov had written on the art of being a science fiction writer.

There are a decent collection of stories as well, though. Not that many are brilliant (exception being the title story, Gold, which virtually features one of Asimov's most famous stories as one of the characters. And while Dr A was a well known proponent of the pun a couple of these stories take the pun to hopefully never again plumbed depths :-)
