Reviews of Terminal Man, the (1972)

Review by nzilla (2003-11-12)
Yaaaaaaaaaawn! A painfully boring book. The science sounds interesting at first, but becomes rather trite after awhile, and there's less scientific explanation than is usual for Crichton. As is usual for the author, the characters are all one-dimensional and there aren't any real plot twists to speak of. There is no action until the end of the book and even then there is no suspense. I read this book in one sitting, so it's not like it will be a huge waste of your time, but you might as well read A Case of Need, Timeline, Jurassic Park, or Airframe if you need your Crichton fix. 5/10
