Reviews of Haunted Mask, the (1993)

Review by gibsonj338 (2009-01-28)
After had read the book, all I can say is this book gave me the heebie-jeebies. As I was reading this book, I kept imagining the mask being placed on my face and becoming apart of my face. I could feel my face becoming hot and sticky and sweaty. Even as I write this review, my face feels hot and sitcky ans sweaty. When I got done reading this book, I was so glad that I wouldn't pick this book up again to read. I'm not saying that I wouldn't recommend this book because I think that R.L. Stine did a wonderful job with this book. All I'm saying that that I would not ever read this book again because of the feeling this book gives me that I don't like.

this is yet another great book from the goosebump series. in this book, carly beth, who is a "scaredy cat", buys a mask against the store owners warnings. it is the scariest mask she has ever seen. she is completely shock to find that the mask is so much as a perfect fit, that it looks and feels like her own skin. but as halloween night goes on, carly beth starts to change, and it's not good. it's like she's become some sort of wild animal. the only way to change back to normal, is to take the mask off, but it seems to be stuck on her!!!!!!
a great addition for any young reader who likes horror and mystery and r.l. stine.
