This book explores the joy of giving, the pain of loss (and just pain, in general), sadness, and quite a bit more... all wrapped up in a surprisingly exciting tale of two guys on a trip around the world, giving exorbitant sums of money to complete strangers. Eggers' contemporary style makes it all the more profound and engaging. Despite its casual narration, it contains a lot of truth about life. Read this book; you shall know its velocity.
