The dummy - Slappy is a living dummy Lindy found in a dumpster. Slappy keeps playing tricks on Lindy, which got her into a lot of trouble. Such as when she was in a show. It was OK. I probably wouldn't recommend this. But if you like to see the tricks Slappy plays on Lindy, try it and see if you like it. Maybe you will, you never know.

After had read the book, all I can say is that I didn't expect it when the dummy came to life and attacked the family members. Although a dummy comming to life cannot happen in real life, the creatativy was genius by R.L. Stine. It would have scared me if I saw a real live dummy in my room staring at me while I am trying to sleep in my bed for the night. Overall, I would recommend this book.
