This book has a great plot to it but I think the TV episode of this is worse than the book. This would count as one of my favorite goosebumps books along with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Monster Blood. I don't know why the "jelly" didn't expand at first. Anyways, grab one at the library and try it. Maybe you'll like it, which I think it will, or not. I think the TV is on cartoon network. But YOU SHOULD READ THE BOOK FIRST!! Compare the difference with the TV. A huge difference, and the book is so much better.

After have read the book, all I can say is that this book is better than the other two books in the series as far the storyline goes. What I don't get is how (assuming that monster's excist) monster blood would end up dried in a container in a rare toy store. What the characters do with the monster blood is genius by R.L. Stine. Overall, I would recommend this book.
