Reviews of Lord of the Silver Bow (2005)

Review by rmartyna (2006-12-19)
I recieved this book as a gift without knowing anything about it. It ended up being a pleasant suprise. Since the writer is fairly well known and thought to be the "Tolken of this geneation", the book was well written and well thought out. The book also combined historical fact (new research help create this take on the trojan war) with fiction, making it more believable and not complete fantasy. The book was better than the average "sword/sorcery" book. Some characters in the book are seen in greek history and mythology so it isnt as foriegn as some other books written about that era. The characters were well developed and the plot is strong and very interesting throughout. I would suggest this book to anyone who is looking for a good read. I plan on reading other stories in this series when they are released.
