Reviews of Sandman: World's End (1995)

Review by Zacynthus (2004-11-06)
Graphic novels are so often patronised and/or ignored by the mainstream. This is very unfair and this is one GN that proves it. This is the eighth part in "The Sandman" series of graphic novels, and it is brilliant. It is centred around a group of travellers who are in an inn called "worlds End" who are trapped there during a "reality storm." To pass the time they tell each other stories.

And so a rich and complex novel is formed with stories within stories, a diverse range of characters and themes. This is able to be read standalone and is a brilliant introduction to graphic novels if you have never read one before.
