Reviews of Feet of Clay (1996)
Review by Lilliana (2003-03-12)
As a dedicated fan of mystery novels in general, I consider Feet of Clay one of the best that have ever been written. It's not so much the cynicism or Terry's unfathomable humour that makes the difference with Feet of Clay. It is the way that the "Case" unravels under the feet of the "Cop". It actually unfolds before your very eyes. It keeps you going and going, and eventually the book ends with you still speeding on, unraveling yet, even if it is closed and done. Amazing does not even come close.
