Reviews of Lords and Ladies (1992)
Review by Lilliana (2003-03-12)
Before you go on, let's give a big warning. If you like the goodie-wobbly-sylvan elves of past romantic authors, with a sing-song and a hop, rest back, take a big glass of port and read carefully with an open mind. Don't be rush to judge, just sit back and let the book sip in (and the port as well). An amazing tale of twisting and turning, of changing and staying the same, of now, and then, but not of there and back again. The culmination of folklore wisdom through the eyes of a capable author. What more is there to say really?
