Reviews of Son of a Witch (2005)

This book did an amazing job of allowing the main character to unfold for the readers as well as to himself. It is a beautiful story in it's own right, and a perfect follow-up to Wicked. And in the end I get the feeling that we are only really just getting started. Even with the Wicked Witch already dead, I kept finding myself thinking back on her throughout the book in light of new events and adding subtlety to the depth of her character. Also, random thought here: has anyone ever used the word feckless in a book prior to this author? I had to look it up in Wicked and found it again in this book. Now I only have to find a way to fit it into a conversation myself!
