Reviews of Bells, the (1849)
Review by islander255 (2007-03-05)
This is great as poems go, but not nearly as fascinating as Poe's other works. It is describing a variety of bells in a variety of ways with lots of repetition ("of the bells, bells, bells, bells. . ."). But, after "The Raven", this piece is rather a disappointment. But read at least once, anyway; it's better than most of the other works you'll find in high school literature book.
