Reviews of Doors of Perception and Heaven and Hell, the (1954)

The Blake quote inspired not only this book but the name of Jim Morrison's The Doors (did Jim read this book? - most likely). Huxley sits down and decides to take peyote and record his experience down as objectivily as he could. Read and learn the nature of perceptive difference as well as how unique we all are underneath this endless web of difference. Is then perception an illusion? A good easy philosophy read.
