Reviews of Coyote Kings of the Space-Age Bachelor Pad, the (2004)

The Coyote Kings of the Space-Age Bachelor Pad by Minister Faust is a very unique story about two Young Canadians. Sadly there is nothing else I can say about the plotline without ruining it entirely, for it is quite complex.

The writing style is very unique; the author writes narration all in first person perspective but switches off between which person perspective he is using. This can become somewhat confusing, for he doesn’t announce who is speaking; still I never was unable to discover who it was without a little careful reading. The author also uses a very particular dialect that at times does become somewhat overwhelming, depending on which character is talking. In fact at times he actually uses a vernacular as well in the same fashion.

Overall it is a little more challenging in the literary sense than many other books, but the story line is fun and interesting and drives the reader on to the end. So try a new author out!
