Reviews of Obsidian Butterfly (2000)

Review by momstheword (2008-01-28)
Wow, this was the start of a journey for me! I was sitting in the pharmacy waiting on a prescription and wanted something to read. I headed over to the magazine aisle and saw Obsidian Butterfly. I could not put down, so I bought it. I was enraptured with the characters and the style. It was the first I had ever heard of Laurell K. Hamilton and I can say she is now among my most favorite authors. The mix of fantasy, eroticism, action and more hooked me for life.

I really liked this book. The lack of Jean-Claude in the past book, and this one, was totally made up for with the excess of Edward. I like how this book focused on Edward's life, too. Before I had read it, I was really curious about him, and what he was other than what we knew. This book was definitely one of my favorites in the series.
