Reviews of Nine Billion Names of God, the (1953)
This is one of the most thought-provoking short stories I have read. What if the whole raison d'Ítre of mankind, that should take thousands of years to be accomplished, could be done in just a few weeks thanks to modern computers? The confrontation of two visions of the world is fascinating. I read this short story zillions of years ago and when I read its title, it just came back fresh in my memory. Really fantastic!
