Reviews of Mistletoe and the Sword, the (1974)

A good book, but not like the other Anya Seton novels I read before. Personally, I would have liked to see a bit more in-depth information on druidism, Queen Bodicea, Conn Lear etc. rather than the ‘love’ story between Quintus and Regan. After all, Anya Seton is known for accurate historic novels, and I kind of got the impression this one was accurate, but just not detailed enough for me.
Nevertheless a good read, a nice one to read inbetween others!
