Reviews of Treasure Island (1883)
Review by branko (2003-11-24)
A boy manages to lay his hands on what appears to be the map to a famous pirate's treasure. Luckily, a local noble man will finance an expedition to retrieve the treasure (for his share of the loot, of course), so all appears to be going well. Or is it.
This is a thoroughly thrilling an enjoyable novel. If the plot appears to have a few small holes, that's only because the rest of the story is so strong; any flaws would stand out.
