Reviews of Happiness (2001)
Review by mleslie (2004-03-15)
There seems to be a common theme running through several books I have read lately... "to truly make people miserable, give them the freedom them think they want". 'Happiness' slaps this theme right in your face in a story about what could be the end of the world.
I throughly enjoyed it, laugh out loud at times, anything to poke fun at the self-help craving world we live in. Some of the running jokes get a little tired, and sometimes the story is a little thin on explananations, just don't prepare to overanalyze... read it for what it is, constructive criticism for society.
