Reviews of Odd Thomas (2003)

You know what I really liked about this book?
The ending. It was so surprising. One of the last things I saw coming.
Koontz isn't really the author I thought I'd like... but this book takes it home for me.
I also like how Odd Thomas leaves out so much, making you want to read Forever Odd, and Brother Odd.

Koontz has again filled his novel with a many quirky characters... by no means is Odd Thomas's world a circus act, Odd's life is also filled with many "normal" folks to dilute the formers.
Dean Koontz pulls the reader into a suburbial Southern town in the states, an unlikely place for the events that take place in the novel. This is one hell of an unusual ride with Odd, but an enjoyable one.
Although this is not one of Koontz' best, the characters alone in this book might be worth the read.
