Reviews of Enchanted Castle, the (1907)

'I don't understand,' says Gerald, alone in his third-class carriage, 'how railway trains and magic can go on at the same time.'
And yet they do.
They always do in the world of E. Nesbit. She is "comfort reading".
The aforesaid magic ring, as is usual with magic rings, doesn't behave quite the way the children expect. But all comes right in the end.
