Reviews of Daughter of the Empire (1987)
Review by Zacynthus (2005-03-28)
In the tradition of Feist, this is a well rounded easy to read fantasy novel that holds attention but has very little real substance. The characters are easy to identify with but they seem to be somewhat two diemsional. The plotline is gripping but seems to have been done before, and better by other authors. It is one of those novels that strives for greatness but falls significantly short of the mark. It is however an enjoyable read so my reccomendation=
pick it up for light entertainment.
