Reviews of Streetcar Named Desire, a (1947)

The script has very rich portrayals of the different characters and through the insight we obtain in their less-than-perfect personalities, we are reminded that all men share animal urges and the capacity to do evil deeds.
It is a brilliant study in lust, violence, dishonesty, treason and desperation.
The storyline makes us change our sympathies several times leaves us reasons to reconsider our own values.
