The Internet Book List - Spread the word

Reviews of Starchild Trilogy, the (1980)

Review by alanhunt (2003-10-30)
While at times entertaining, this book was a bit heavy handed in its orwellian view of the future, where everything in society is controlled by an all powerful computer and its human interfaces. The characters are not particularly moving, and the story seems at times flat and boilerplate. There was just too little dissent presented by cast of characters to make this story ring true to me. Not a horrible book, by any means, but not a fantastic one either.
