Reviews of Oathbound, the (1988)
Review by blueworld (2004-04-22)
This is one of the few books by Mercedes Lackey that has lasting appeal for me. The Oathbound is long on adventure and short on the moral prostelitizing that weighs down some of her other novels. The unusual character of Tarma and her partnership with Kethry brings this novel above the pack of women-adventurer fantasy stories.
