Reviews of Starman Jones (1953)

Definitely some of Heinlein's most likeable characters make their appearance in Starman Jones. Max comes from a broken and unhappy home which he decides to leave, and it's a good thing he does. Max discovers his hidden potential and learns how to use his unique talents with the help of an old homeless con-artist who takes a liking to him. An excellent story about learning how to believe in yourself, without getting saccharine in the process.
