Reviews of Stardust (1999)

As already noted, Stardust is kind of a fairy tale for grownups. It is well written, heavy on magical, engaging atmosphere, but without much in terms of a plot. If you are looking for a quick read that is a lot of fun, pick it up. Incidentally, Stardust is clearly written for adults, not for children (despite IBL's classification).

The feeling this book gives you is undescribable and must be experienced to understand it. The prose is unbelivably good and tha characters are amazing! Gaiman has done it again!

I loved this book. It recaptured the feeling I used to get as a child, when reading fairy tales, except this time it was written for adults. And the prose, of course, is simply amazing.
