Reviews of Firebreak (2001)

Firebreak is the first Stark Novel I ever read and it was worth the read. Parker who was immortalized by Mel Gibson in the the film Payback proves to be the same all business thief with no quams in killing a man over money and less quams in the jobs he takes. This job, a robbery of a secluded cabin out in the mountains, looks simple enough but you should always watch the company you keep. If you ever read a Richard Stark novel this is the one you need to read.

This book never stopped moving. One of the best I have read.
