| Alcott's books would be more enjoyable if she didn't sometimes over-do the moralizing; but they are "cozy", comforting reads which are pleasant to come back to. A good biography for young adults of Alcott is "Invincible Louisa" by Cornelia Meigs, which looks at her life with readers who enjoyed "Little Women" in mind. |
