Truely, much I have read, no other fantasy so great!
Expect characters of all kinds: witty, foolish, grim, distant, compasionate, unlikable, hard-edged, torn,... But never are they single dimensional white/black, always grey! Very dark grey to almost white, but no über evil dude trying to destroy the world and hup there go the hero's. Far from it, about as far as one can get!

| Do not be decieved by his dorkish apperance, he writes quite literaly the best Epic Fantasy books in the world |
