| Easily, my favorite author. He doesn't need to tell you how the kitchen at an inn smelled like freshly baked bread and stew. His books are too busy giving you something other than the usual fantasy word count paddings.
I have read the first three Black Company books, and have begun the first of the Garrett Files. Every chapter I have read, of his, has been at least important to the story, and usually more. |
