| Fantastic Science Fiction and Fantasy writer! Bold, charismatic, realistic and addictive characters; intricate plots; amazing, immersive settings. Of all the science fiction and fantasy I have read, her books are the only ones I re-read more than twice a year. Occasionally twice a month! The only reason she isn't a better known author is that those of us lucky enough to have found her books can't put them down long enough to pass the word on! |

If you only want to read one of her books, make it Warriors Apprentice, you will then be hooked. |

| One of the best authors. A must for any real sci-fi fans.
She's very intelligent and thoughtful. Her books are well thought out, with complicated characters and plots within plots (like real life), and I don't remember noticing any major inconsistencies or 'bad science'.
Comparable to Oscar Scott Card or Larry Niven. |
