| Be warned. Some people may find Rand's philophy offensively self-centred and western. This is a Good Thing. People need to be offended every now and then, it helps with perspective. Still, I want to provide a warning that her works of fiction are more vessels for her controversial political ideas than they are literature. If you want a good encapsulation of her philosophy in novel form but don't want to struggle through The Fountainhead, I reccomend Anthem. It's only about a hundred pages long. |

| It is a difficult book to read. Long. But it is worth it. The book is incredible, whether or not you agree with her philosophy. Objectivism! |
