| I came to McBain a couple of years ago, through a book review in The New Yorker. On my next visit to second-hand bookshops (my favoured passtime), I bought a hardcover collection of some of his novels. I'm still buying, and reading, of course. Each book is a new pleasant surprise, I haven't been disappointed yet. And one can buy his books for near to nothing, even here in Flanders, in English.
I recommended McBain to my oldest son, and he's another follower now. |
