| A couple of really good books to read are, of course, 1984 and Coming Up for Air.
1984 being the darker side of humanity, and always a favorite for required reading, while Coming Up for Air is almost the opposite - a Briton revisiting his childhood village and reliving the memories of his life. A good bit of escapism in this book as opposed to the closed and monitored world of 1984. |
