| Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite writers (there are many... so though that may seem to affect the validity of this, it doesn't. He's amazing.) His ideas are way out there yet all routed in mythology and folklore, what we all know from what seems to be collective knowledge. All his stories twist and are so tangled and masterfully intertwined that it is impossible to get the full experience by just reading one of his novels, stories, comics, etc. Truly, one of the best writers of our time. |

| I started reading him after American Gods grabbed the Hugo and Nebula. Personally I think he's overrated. As a graphic novel writer he's great. As a novelist he's good, but with seems lesser without the art backing his words. Just my opinion. |
