RL Stine is the best author in the wrold, really he is. He's got so many ideas packed into his head, and he just keeps popping out books like there's no tomorrow. They are NOT repetitive, and they are each just as wonderful as the next. Kids can read Goosebumps until thier eyes bleed, and they'll never get tired. He has a book made just for adults called Superstitious, and that's great. Fear Street are perfect for teenagers and young adults, with just the right amount of suspense and horror. If you have not yet read one of his books and you are an adult, I'd highly recommend reading Fear Streets, even thought they're meant for teens. If you're a kid, read Goosebumps. Then watch the movies, which are a little corny cometimes, but still just as AWESOME as the books!

R.L. Stine is infamous for writing about two or three books a month and just churning out insipid repetitive horror stories. This really is true. If you're a kid you might be able to read maybe ten or so before you get bored; if you're an adult, make that one or two. He's most famous for his Goosebumps series, but he also writes a slightly more mature series for older kids called Fear Street. These are actually fairly gory, but are still pretty repetitive, albeit less than his other books. He also wrote some cruddy "101" joke books.
